Today, Ukraine received another tranche of €3.056 billion under the Ukraine Facility and €1 billion under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative. This is the sixth tranche under the ERA and the second under the Ukraine Facility this year.

“We highly appreciate the EU support, which helps Ukraine maintain macroeconomic stability and implement the planned reforms. Fulfilling our commitments to the European partners is our key priority. We continue to implement the Ukraine Plan and strive to restore the pace set in 2024. And today's tranche from the European Union is indicative of trust and the recognition of our efforts,” said Oleksii Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The total amount of macro-financial assistance under the ERA is about €45 billion in financial support, €18.1 billion of which is the EU contribution. Repayment of these loans will be carried out from the income from frozen russian sovereign assets in the EU.

The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture performs the function of the National Coordinator of the Ukraine Plan within the Ukraine Facility. Its tasks include organizing, monitoring and controlling the implementation of obligations, as well as preparing quarterly reports to the European Commission. According to preliminary calculations, Ukraine should receive €12.5 billion in 2025 within the Ukraine Facility. This year, more than €6.5 billion has already been received by the budget within the framework of the implementation of the Ukraine Plan.
